"The Artey School Art Competition...was again a huge success with more than 80 entries from nearby primary schools. The standard was incredibly high, with a wide variety of works from papier mache scupltures to sketches and bright paintings. Prizes were spread among the schools...with Waimea Street, Albuera Street, Mount Nelson Primary, Sandy Bay Infants, Mt Carmel and Fahan taking out awards. Congratulations to all!" |
